The first three drawings

Images to come...

In the first drawing, I wasn't concentrating on the long axis at all, only the outline so I'm sure the proportions are off by a lot. I do like the drawing but it doesn't use value much, if at all, to show the parts of the body which are farther back in space.

In the second drawing, I was using the long axis while experimenting with the outline a small amount. Lighter lines show which parts of the body are farther back and darker ones show closer parts, as well as where there is pressure, such as by the foot.

In the third drawing, we had learned about the spine and so that's where I started and made sure to get the curve right before proceeding. I also used the long axis to get the leg and arm proportions correct before continuing with the outline. Again, lighter and darker lines are used to show atmospheric perspective.
