At the beginning of life drawing, I was really excited because I love drawing in lines and it always bothered me when teachers would say I can't outline even if I add value as well. That was probably my favorite thing about this class, and I think I improved on my line quality overall, adding different values and weights to the lines. The skull drawing is a good example of this. The cross-contour lines across the top are much thinner than the other lines, and the ones around the shaded areas are much darker.

At first, I was really dreading building the muscles on the skeleton because I'm avoiding a sculpture class. But after I got started, I found that it was more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be, and started looking forward to the days we would do clay in class. I think the forearm on my mannequin turned out the best. I stopped trying to build muscles on and started adding more clay than was necessary and sculpted it off.
